Privacy Policy

Version 1.1 · Effective date: 17 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how move.ge processes personal data. move.ge is operated from the United States and serves users in Georgia, so we follow the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection of 14 June 2023 (the "Law") as well as the law of the United States. It applies to the move.ge website, the move.ge GLS back office, our emails and every form on move.ge.

Ujarmeli LLC, 101 Scott Street, Wausau, WI 54403, USA, which operates move.ge as its brand; email: info@move.ge ("move.ge", "we").

Where you must give data: the fields marked as required on a form are needed to provide that service. If you do not give them, we cannot accept the application, publish the listing or pass on the inquiry.

We do not process special categories of personal data (for example health, religion or biometrics) and ask you not to put them in listings or messages. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Where the data comes from

Most data comes from you. Some comes from others: a member gives us the names and contacts of the owners of a property they list; an office manager adds agents; a member enters the buyer in a closing; GNARE may confirm a membership to us by email; we check companies and owners in the public records of the National Agency of Public Registry. When we receive data about you from someone else, we tell you about it within 10 working days (for example in the owner consent email), unless an exception in the Law applies.

4. Who receives the data

  1. Other users, as the service requires. Listings show the listing member's name, office and contact details. Owners' names and contacts are never shown publicly or to other members; only the listing agent, their office manager and move.ge staff see them. Inquiries and showing requests go to the listing agent or owner.
  2. GNARE (Georgian National Association of Real Estate) and the National Association of REALTORS®, only to confirm a membership you told us about.
  3. Service providers (processors) that work on our instructions under written terms:
    • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, security and spam protection (Turnstile);
    • Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (USA, Ireland): card payments and billing;
    • Google LLC (USA): delivery of website fonts (your browser requests them directly, which shows Google your IP address);
    • OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom): map tiles on listing maps.
  4. Authorities, when Georgian law requires it or to protect rights in a dispute.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Transfers outside Georgia

move.ge is operated from the United States of America. Data you give us on move.ge is therefore received and processed outside Georgia: our main database is held in the European Union, and files, email, payments and other processing take place in the United States and, for some providers, in the European Union and the United Kingdom. The United States is not on the list of countries with an adequate level of protection maintained under Article 38 of the Law, so the protection there may differ from Georgia.

We apply the safeguards described in this Policy to all data wherever it is processed, we bind our providers by written contracts with confidentiality and security obligations, and where the Law requires a specific ground for a transfer under Article 37, we rely on that ground, including your written consent given after this information. When you sign up, you are asked for this consent.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-time email sign-in codes, access limited by role, private storage for documents, logging of access to confidential data, spam protection and regular backups. Our providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. If a security incident creates a risk to you, we notify the State Audit Office of Georgia within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay where the Law requires it.

8. Your rights

Under the Law you have the right to:

  1. know whether we process your data and receive information about the processing (Article 13);
  2. get access to and a copy of your data, free of charge in the usual form (Article 14);
  3. have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (Article 15);
  4. have processing stopped and your data deleted or destroyed where there is no longer a legal ground (Article 16);
  5. have your data blocked in the cases set out in Article 17;
  6. receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format, where Article 18 applies;
  7. not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (Article 19);
  8. withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out (Article 20);
  9. refuse direct marketing at any time; we stop within 7 working days (Article 12).

To use a right, write to info@move.ge from the email address on your account, or explain how we can confirm your identity. We answer within 10 working days; in special cases we may extend this once by up to 10 working days and will tell you why. Requests to block data are decided within 3 working days.

If you think we have breached the Law, you can complain to us first at info@move.ge, to the State Audit Office of Georgia, which supervises personal data protection in Georgia, or to a court.
